To facilitate access to specialist care, advanced consultations for upper limb surgery are available at the Queyrac Health Centre, in the heart of the Médoc.
Based in the Médoc since 2016, Dr Vincent Seivert runs a local consultation service specialising in conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. This long-standing presence has enabled the development of a comprehensive healthcare network based on close collaboration with local GPs, teams of physiotherapists specialising in upper limb rehabilitation, private nurses (IDELs), who play a vital role in post-operative care at home, and local medical imaging centres. This coordination between the various healthcare professionals ensures a seamless, responsive and personalised care pathway.
When surgery is required, it is carried out at the Tivoli Clinic in Bordeaux, which houses the technical facilities and specialised equipment. Pre- and post-operative care is then provided, wherever possible, at the Queyrac Health Centre, in collaboration with all healthcare professionals in the region, in order to minimise travel for patients whilst maintaining local, coordinated and high-quality care.
This approach combines the expertise of a specialist surgical centre in Bordeaux with the convenience of local medical care in the Médoc, as close as possible to patients.
