ONE TEAM. ONE JOURNEY. ONE COMMON GOAL: YOUR WELL-BEING
ONE TEAM. ONE JOURNEY. ONE COMMON GOAL: YOUR WELL-BEING
A surgical procedure sometimes lasts less than an hour. However, it is just one moment amongst many stages leading to your recovery.
This approach, inspired by Dr Jean-Paul Brutus’s work on the patient experience, places the patient at the centre of every decision. Each stage is carefully planned, organised and coordinated to make your care more seamless, easier to understand and less stressful.
We therefore do not view surgery as an isolated procedure, but as a journey tailored to your needs.
We take the time to understand your situation, explain your condition and discuss the various treatment options with you. A shared decision is essential to ensure that everyone understands the objectives, expected benefits, limitations and risks of the treatment.
If surgery is chosen, a personalised care pathway is put in place. Depending on your situation, this may include further imaging tests, a pre-operative assessment and a consultation with an anaesthesia team experienced in upper limb surgery.
A comprehensive digital resource, accessible via computer, tablet or smartphone, allows you to access explanations, anatomical diagrams, practical advice and answers to frequently asked questions at any time.
Our aim is to ensure your experience is straightforward, reassuring and seamless, from the moment you are admitted right through to your return home. Beyond the technical quality of the procedure, we place particular importance on communication, your comfort and your safety.
Depending on the procedure carried out, we organise a personalised rehabilitation programme with your physiotherapist, support from a home care provider for certain shoulder surgeries, and post-operative monitoring during the first 24 hours to answer your questions promptly and ensure your comfort.
Follow-up appointments then allow us to assess your recovery, adapt your rehabilitation programme and support you until you are able to resume your personal, sporting or professional activities.
Every professional involved in your care journey — surgeon, medical secretary, radiography technician, anaesthetist, nurses, physiotherapist, home care provider — is part of the same mission: to offer you coordinated, compassionate and high-quality care.

We do not simply aim to perform high-quality surgery, as a successful operation is not judged solely in the operating theatre: it is built up before the procedure, experienced during your stay in hospital and confirmed throughout your recovery.
