Its indications remain specific: it is mainly offered to patients with good bone quality in the proximal humerus, particularly in certain forms of arthropathy involving an irreparable rotator cuff tear or in a few selected fractures.
It is not suitable for all situations.
This technology remains relatively uncommon. Only a few manufacturers currently offer a stemless reverse prosthesis, making it an innovative solution but one still reserved for very specific indications and experienced surgeons.
