Dr Vincent SEIVERT

Orthopaedic Surgeon
Specialising exclusively in upper limb surgery

Dr Vincent SEIVERT is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising exclusively in upper limb surgery (shoulder, hand, elbow and wrist).

He treats all conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, whether traumatic, degenerative, sports-related or neurological. His work focuses on specialised procedures in minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery and prosthetic surgery.

In addition to his surgical expertise, his academic background combines rigorous clinical training with in-depth consideration of medical ethics, patient communication and health law. This dual approach now guides a practice in which the quality of surgical technique is complemented by clear information, shared medical decision-making and personalised care.

Since 2026, he has been practising at the Tivoli-Ducos Clinic in Bordeaux, where he has developed a practice exclusively dedicated to upper limb surgery. He also runs an advanced consultation service at the Queyrac Health Centre, to ensure that specialist care remains available locally in the Médoc region.

Career

Dr Vincent SEIVERT completed his entire medical training at the Faculty of Medicine in Nancy and at Nancy University Hospital.

Following his residency in orthopaedic and trauma surgery, he was appointed Senior Registrar – Hospital Assistant, helping to train students and junior doctors whilst developing his own surgical practice.

During this period of university training, he was fortunate to be mentored by Professor Henry Coudane, who taught him the fundamentals of shoulder surgery, and by Professor Gilles Dautel, whose teaching had a profound influence on his practice of hand and wrist surgery.

Having practised in Gironde since 2016, he spent nearly ten years specialising exclusively in upper limb surgery before joining the Tivoli-Ducos Clinic in 2026.

A philosophy: designing a care pathway

For Dr Vincent SEIVERT, the success of a treatment does not depend solely on the surgical procedure.

Each case is approached as a comprehensive care pathway combining active listening, clinical assessment, appropriate imaging, patient information, personalised surgery, coordinated rehabilitation and post-operative follow-up.

This approach aims to deliver optimal functional recovery whilst placing the patient at the heart of medical decision-making.

Explaining, to enable an informed medical decision through clear and accessible information.

Reconstructing, prioritising conservative and reconstructive techniques wherever possible.

Supporting, right through to a return to personal, professional and sporting activities.

Restoring function is a technical objective. Supporting each patient with rigour, attentiveness and high standards is a commitment.”
